At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, on July 28, 2023, at the age of 87 years and 5 months, passed away Mrs. Georgette Roussel, of Edmundston, wife of the late Mr. Bruce Daniel, daughter of the late Mr. Renaud Roussel and the late Mrs. Rita Picard.
She leaves in pain but also with wonderful memories, her grandchildren: Julia Violette (Elias), Lydia Violette (Josh) and Adam Violette (Elizabeth), her great-grandchildren: Blake, Brielle and Audrey, her daughter-in-law Susan Violette (late Michael), her brother Guy Roussel (Micheline), her nephew Keven as well as her husband's children: Brent Daniel (Vicky) and Cheryl Daniel (Mark), her grandchildren: Ryan, Allie, Kate and Kelly, her great-grandson Blake. She now rests with her son Michael and her husband.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Bellavance Funeral Home with interment at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Georgette Daniel will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. at the Bellavance Funeral Home at 153 Canada Road in Edmundston. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., time of the Celebration.
À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 28 juillet 2023, à l’âge de 87 ans et 5 mois, est décédée Mme Georgette Roussel, domiciliée à Edmundston, épouse de feu M. Bruce Daniel, fille de feu M. Renaud Roussel et de feu Mme Rita Picard.
Elle laisse dans la peine mais également avec de merveilleux souvenirs, ses petit-enfants : Julia Violette (Elias), Lydia Violette (Josh) et Adam Violette (Elizabeth), ses arrière-petit-enfants : Blake, Brielle et Audrey, sa bru Susan Violette (feu Michael), son frère Guy Roussel (Micheline), son neveu Keven ainsi que les enfants de son époux : Brent Daniel (Vicky) et Cheryl Daniel (Mark), ses petits-enfants : Ryan, Allie, Kate et Kelly, son arrière-petit-fils Blake. Elle repose maintenant auprès de son fils Michael et son époux.
Une Célébration aura lieu mardi le 8 août 2023 à 11 h à la Résidence funéraire Bellavance avec l’inhumation au cimetière St. John the Baptist.
La famille de Mme Georgette Daniel accueillera parents et ami(e)s à compter de 10 h à la Résidence funéraire Bellavance du 153 chemin Canada à Edmundston. Les heures de visites seront mardi de 10 h à 11 h soit l’heure de la Célébration.

To the Roussel and Violette family, I wish to extend my most sincere sympathy. Sorry to hear of your loss. Georgette was a long time school friend and we enjoyed good visits together, especially in the last years with class reunions and especially since she had moved back to Edmundston. However, in the last few months my health and circumstances kept us in contact only by phone, but I enjoyed talking to her and getting in touch. Hopefully my condition will allow me to go to the celebration, , however that is a day to day decision. Once again, my sincere sympathy. Nora.

Guy, and Sue, Lydia, Julia, and Adam: I am just finding out about Georgette's passing today (8/7) - and I am deeply touched because she was always such a blessing to me as my Godmother-- she talked to me on the phone from time to time and we would catch up and laugh, and I feel that we understood each other very well, even though we have always been many miles apart. She was such a lovely lovely wonderful woman with a big big heart. And she missed her Bruce so much - I'm glad they are back together at last. My deepest sympathy to you all, with love, --Andy
