Gérard ``Mike`` MacDonald

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, on June 4, 2024, at the age of 77 years and 9 months, died Mr. Gérard ``Mike`` MacDonald, living in Edmundston, husband of Mrs. Patricia Lavoie, son of the late Mr. Martin MacDonald and the late Mrs. Azilda Dubé.
Along with his wife, he leaves in sorrow but also with wonderful memories: his daughter Deanna Kilcollins (Robert), his grandchildren: Amanda Layman (Alex) and Jessica Schwartz (Stephen), his great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Emma and Elena, his sister Kathy Ann Fletcher (Richard), his brother James MacDonald, his sisters-in-law: Nancy Clavette (Gil) and Carole Lavoie, his brother-in-law Réjean Lavoie (René Blouin) as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins. He is now resting with his son Joey, his parents, his brother Donald and baby Hallie.
To respect the wishes of Mr. Gérard ``Mike`` MacDonald, there will be no exhibition or funeral. Burial will take place in the Immaculée-Conception cemetery.
Mr. MacDonald was a member of the Canadian Legion.
The family thanks the staff and palliative care doctors at the Edmundston Regional Hospital.
