Sending my deepest condolences she was a lovely lady

We send our sympathies for the family of Kathy. We shared a wonderful few years together, worshiping at St. John-St.Paul Anglican Church in Edmundston. We also spent many hours serving at the Madawaska historical society, and the Martin Acadian Homestead. We shared her interest in history, genealogy, faith and more. May she rest in peace and with joy with our Lord and Saviour.

Votre maman, o๠qu’elle soit, je la remercie d’avoir donné vie à  3 filles aussi fantastiques. Quand j’ai de la peine en pensant à  mon papa que j’ai perdu il y a 15 ans,mon garà§on me dit qu’il est encore là , très sérieusement, et à§a vient de lui depuis qu’il est tout petit sans que personne lui ai dit cela.
Courage à  toute la famille de cette chère dame et câlins réconfortants à  vous 3

Deepest sympathies to all the families. Loved having Kathy as my partner while I was PrinciPal at Saint Mary’s. We had a nice get together last year at my 50 th UNB Reunion. Loved her sharp wit, great accent, wise ways and wonderful daughters( Sam, Sarah & Maryem) ! RIP Kathy.

I’m so very sorry for your loss.
My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Kath and I supported one another from afar for decades. The one time we lived near one another, very briefy, in the summer of1967, we were sorry influences on one another. But we had a lot of fun and our only regrets were that we could not continue our bad behavior at a distance. For years I looked forward to seeing her on the occasional Fourth of July at Stedman Street, in Wakefield.
She was a fierce, committed genealogist and we conferred many times over the years concerning the Cannon clan. She also worked on her mother's side of the family, the Millers.
She had a wry sense of humor and a tart tongue. And she raised three wonderful daughters.
I will miss her.

My condolences to Kathy’s family at this sad time. She was the first person I met when I arrived at Saint Mary’s Academy and I valued her as a colleague and a friend. While it has been several years since I have seen her, she will always be in my heart as part of my SMA family. Her kindness and sense of humour will always be treasured.

I'm very sorry to hear of your mom's passing.
Although I only met her once, I feel like I knew her a bit because my sister used to regale us with stories about your mom and her special brand of humour. Oven mitts with the fingers cut out comes to mind.

Pendant la période du Covid, je t,ai vue sur CBC expliquer le développement de cette maladie et je t,ai trouvé bien savante… je me souviens comment appliquée et bonne élève que tu étais…mais tu dépasses les attentes…tu es dans la lignée des scientistes..bravo..felicitations Samira!!! Dommage que ta maman soit partie…elle n,était pas tres âgée…

Sarah, Maryem and Samira,
We were saddened to receive the message that our friend, our St. Mary's Academy school secretary has passed away. Kathy was such a dear, caring soul to all of us, staff and students alike, always quick to pitch in and always ready to give us direction when we needed it. Her quick wit and dry sense of humour was so often timely to lighten a heavy burden or to simply bring on a good laugh. She was SMA's medicine cabinet and our staff steward. We have many fond memories. Rest in peace, Kathy.
