Obituary for Louis "Phil" Boucher

Louis "Phillip" Boucher, 62, of Enfield, beloved husband of 34 years to Lisa (Sowell) Boucher, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at The Suffield House after a long hard battle with various medical issues. The son of the late Lucien and Louiselle (Soucy) Boucher, Phil was born in Hartford and was raised in Windsor Locks. He lived in Enfield for 32 years and retired from Ahlstrom, formerly Dexter Corp., after 28 years with the company. In his free time, Phil loved working on motorcycles and cars. He was a skilled welder, fabricator and mechanic. Always a Ford fanatic, he was very proud of the restoration he completed on his 1958 Ford F100 truck. As a gifted metal fabricator, he was always ready and willing to help his friends with any projects they were working on. His knowledge and skill were unmatched and will be sadly missed.
Besides his wife Lisa, Phil leaves three daughters, Danielle and Gabrielle Boucher of Enfield, and Dominique Boucher of Plainville, CT, a brother,Andre Boucher and his wife Heather of Preston, CT, three sisters, Michelene Gonynor and her husband Frank of Inverness, FL, Patricia and her late husband Regis Ouellet of St. Hilaire, New Brunswick, Canada, Denise Tomalonis and her husband Thomas of Windsor Locks, a sister-in-law Deb Loveland and her husband Tom of East Granby, and several nieces and nephews.
Phil's family wishes to thank the Nurses and staff at The Suffield House for the wonderful care they provided to Phil.
Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday July 22, 2021 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday July 23 at Leete-Stevens. Burial will be private. Donations in Phil's memory may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
