Robert Stewart Bernard II

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Robert Stewart Bernard II, resident of MMFN, common-law spouse of Mrs. Huguette Martin, son of Mr. Stewart Bernard of Edmundston and of Mrs. Margaret DiMaggio of Boston. He passed away on February 13, 2022, at his home, at the age of 62 years.
He is survived by his children: Robert Stewart Bernard III (Gabrielle Desjardins) of MMFN and Maya Bernard of MMFN, his brother and sisters: Maria Bernard (Bob Forsen) of Ottawa, John Bernard (Michelle Soucy) of MMFN, Joanna Bernard of MMFN, and Patricia Bernard (Perry Francis) of MMFN. He was predeceased by his sisters Carolann and Catherine
To respect his wishes, there will be no funeral services.
The family would like to thank the Extra-Mural Program, the Edmundston regional hospital, the Résidences Jodin, and the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation of Fredericton, for the excellent care provided.
For those who wish, donations to the Edmundston regional hospital foundation would be appreciated by the family.

My heart hurts for this loss. Bobby always always smiled and made me giggle. He was a gentle person who warmed my heart whenever I saw him. I just couldn’t help but smile and laugh when we spoke. I will always remember him as a kind soul who I could laugh with and trust. I love you Bobby xo
